Queen Album Info
Bohemian Rhapsody Written by Freddie Mercury produced by Roy Thomas Baker and Queen. Released in October 1975 from their first number one album A Night At The Opera. The release of Freddie's 5 minute 55 second Magnum Opus gave The Band a single that stayed at number 1 for 9 Weeks. Critical acclaim went hand in hand with Press hostility towards these "British Glam Rockers", as the TV stations worldwide aired The Bands pioneering promotional video, but the fans knew what they liked and radio airplay was constant, without the track ever being edited. 17 years later the hit movie Wayne's World featured the song and consequently the single was re-released in America in February 1992 reaching number 2 in the Billboard Chart. It became the first recording to hit number 1 on two completely different occasions. In British music polls Bohemian Rhapsody has repeatedly been voted The Number 1 song of ALL TIME. Now I'm Here by Brian May, produced by Roy Thomas Baker and Queen. Released in the UK January 1975, from Sheer Heart Attack. Reached number 11 in the UK Chart. When played live, it featured Freddie Mercury 'Double' flashing into view opening sequence, while the real Mr. Mercury appeared on the other side.
